When the LORD restored the captives to Zion, We were like those who dream, Filled with song, mirth, and laughter, Prisoners now released! For the LORD has done great things for us; He has done great things! Hallelujah to the LORD! The LORD restores those held captive, Exiled in their sin; Christ has power to free from bondage All who turn to Him. For the LORD has done great things for us; He has done great things! Hallelujah to the LORD! As water to a desert land, So the gospel of Christ goes out, That those who sow in tears of sorrow May reap with a joyful shout! Hallelujah! O LORD, restore those still captive; Bring Your people home, From every tongue, tribe and nation To Your glorious throne. Jesus, You have done great things for us; You have done great things! Hallelujah to the LORD!
2.
Those who trust in the LORD, They are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved. Those who trust in the LORD, They are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved. As mountains surround Jerusalem, The LORD surrounds all His own. Those who trust in the LORD, They are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved. Those who trust in the LORD, They cannot be moved! Wickedness will not prevail; Righteousness will fill the land. Those who put their trust in Him Will abide forever and ever!
3.
The earth belongs to Him, Founded upon the sea, And all who dwell therein Will fall on bended knee. Who is this King of Glory? The LORD, strong and mighty! Who is this King of Glory? The LORD, mighty in battle! Be lifted up, O heavenly gates, That the King of Glory may come in; The LORD Almighty is His name, The King of Glory, the King of Glory. Lay down your cloak, your life; Here comes the King of kings, Upon a humble colt, Riding to victory. Who can ascend the hill, Who can atone for us? Jesus, the Holy One, Perfect in righteousness. Lift up your head, O gates; Be lifted, ancient doors. Behold the crucified; Behold the risen Lord.

He Is Risen 02:54
He is risen, risen with power and glory, Jesus our Redeemer, Risen with the power to save! Sing His praises, Praises in the highest! Glory! Jesus our Redeemer: In His resurrection we shall live. O death, O where is your sting? See, how the tomb is empty. Jesus has given us life, For He is, As through Adam came death, So through our Lord came victory. Jesus has given us life, For He is, Hallelujah! By His death we have been saved. Hallelujah! In His life we have been raised. Hallelujah! He is making all things new. Hallelujah! Yes, He is... He is risen, risen with power and glory, Jesus our Redeemer, Risen with the power to save! Sing His praises, Praises in the highest! Glory! Jesus our Redeemer: In His resurrection we shall live.
5.
While we were dead in sin, Your grace abounded; Father, You gave us life Through Your Son! Lord, in Your mercy, in Your love We have been raised! We are alive! In the heavenly realms we are seated with Christ That we may know, age unto age, The abundance of Your grace. Grace upon endless grace, Your plan unfolding, Jesus, the Lamb of God, Gives us life! Lord, in Your mercy, in Your love If we are crucified with Christ, Then we are raised with Him. If we are crucified with Christ, Then we have been raised! We are alive! In the heavenly realms we are seated with Christ That we may know, age unto age, The abundance of Your grace.

In the streets they cry for justice In a world beguiled with sin. Where is the justice of our God? Though we cry for justice, The truth is that within We all need the mercy of our God. His holy wrath has been revealed; His mercy is made known! I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus, Where justice is met and mercy is released. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus; It is power for salvation to all who will believe. I am not ashamed. All of us stand guilty before a holy God, For all have sinned and gone astray. Yet the wrath that is our due Has been poured out on the cross; There is hope in Jesus’ name! The Father’s love has been revealed, His righteousness made known! I am not ashamed of this power of God by which we are saved. In the streets they cry for justice In a world beguiled with sin. Come to the justice of the cross. For though we cry for justice, The truth is that within We all need the mercy of our God.

King Eglon conquered Israel; The LORD had strengthened Eglon’s hand. As Israel bowed to foreign gods, So now they served a foreign man. For eighteen years, King Eglon ruled; Eighteen long years they were not free. They cried at last unto the LORD, And He responded to their plea. A man named Ehud, God raised up; They would send tribute to the king. He would go forth to Eglon’s court, A message from the LORD to bring. He made a sword one cubit long, Two edges sharp as they could be. He hid it well on his right thigh, For a left-handed man was he. Away he went to Eglon’s court. He paid his tribute; he paid it well. Then Ehud went upon his way Until the idols of Gilgal. There he dismissed his company; To Eglon’s court he returned alone. A secret message he announced; The king’s attendants left the room. “Hear now, O king, a word from God.” The king, he rose up from his seat. Then Ehud drew the fearsome sword And thrust it straight into the king. Eglon was not a slender man; His fat enveloped Ehud’s sword. The handle sank into his flesh; The king fell dead upon the floor. As Ehud left, he locked the door. He passed the idols of the king. He went with haste to Ephraim’s hills And blew the horn of victory. Then Israel rose up to the call; King Eglon’s men did not escape. As Israel blocked the Jordan’s fords, The LORD delivered them that day. Take head to hear of Israel’s rest; For eighty years they lived in peace. For they had cried unto the LORD, And He responded to their plea.

I am waiting for light; I am watching for morning. God will answer my cry; He will answer my longing. Though I fall, I will rise, Though I dwell in the darkness. Though I fall, I will rise, Clinging to Jesus. I am guilty of sin; I have wronged You, my Savior. Yet my soul You forgive, Though unworthy of favor. Hope within me abounds, Though my enemy taunts me. Though I’m cut to the ground, Christ has mercy upon me. I am holding to the cross of Christ; In this darkness, Lord, You are my light.

See, O Zion 03:00
See, O Zion, here’s your King, Promised Son of David, On a colt, a donkey’s foal, Bringing your salvation! Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna to the King, to the King! Blessed is the King who comes In the name of Yahweh, Jesus, the anointed One, Riding forth to vict’ry! He has set the captives free, Crushed the great oppressor. He has borne the curse of sin, Freeing us forever! See, O Zion, here’s your King; The kingdom is upon you. Bow your heart and bend your knee; Let His peace surround you.
11.
Behold the King, the Prince of peace, Eternal with the Father. His name is called Great Counselor; The kingdom rests upon Him. A Child is born; a Son is given, A Light to those in darkness. Yes, in His zeal the King has come. All hail the King, all hail Lord Jesus! Behold the King, in swaddling clothes And laid within a manger, The Son of God in flesh and blood, The long-awaited Savior. He breaks our yoke; He breaks the rod, Our burden and oppression. Rejoice, O earth! The Christ has come! All hail the King, all hail Lord Jesus! Behold the King, nailed to a cross, A vict’ry like no other. The Prince of peace has reconciled The sinner to the Father. Be lifted up, ye heavenly gates; Behold the King of glory! Behold the King who bore our sin. All hail the King, all hail Lord Jesus! Behold the King, exalted high And seated with the Father. With trumpet sound, He will return, Descending in His splendor. His government will know no end; His peace is everlasting. Yes in His zeal the King will come. All hail the King, all hail Lord Jesus!
12.
You are righteous when You speak; You are blameless when You judge: All Your ways are just, O God. You are gracious to the weak; You are faithful to Your word: All Your ways are just, O God. Let justice flow through Your servants; Fashion our hearts after Yours. Let justice flow forth like water, Righteousness like a river strong, Constant currents of compassion, Rushing through our hearts, O God: Let justice flow, let justice flow. Keep us from dishonest gain; Keep us from our selfish ways: May our ways be just, O God. Reaching out to the oppressed, Giving grace to those in need, May our ways be just, O God. In the power of the cross of Christ, Open our hearts, let justice flow!
13.
In every generation You are good; To every generation Your love endures, So pour Your Holy Spirit, Lord, Upon this generation. In every generation Your word is sure; To every generation Your hope secure, So pour Your Holy Spirit, Lord, Upon this generation. Release Your grace into these lives; satisfy each soul. And as Your grace overflows, make the name of Jesus known Through this generation. You are good, You are good; We have seen Your hand upon these lives. You are good, You are good; Release Your grace again we cry.
14.
Have Mercy 03:08
Have mercy, Lord Jesus; Have mercy on us. Our Savior, we raise our eyes to heaven, Unto Your throne. As servants look to their master, So we look to Your hand. As maids wait upon their mistress, So we wait for You, Lord. Be gracious; our souls are heavy laden, Weighed down with scorn.
15.
All creation waits and groans For the freedom that will come When our bodies are redeemed, adopted as sons, Yet in our weakness, in my weakness Your Spirit prays inside of me With sighing that words could not conceive, And grace flows downward over me, As Your Spirit intercedes. Present sufferings can’t compare To the glory we will know; ‘Til that day we persevere, abiding in hope, While in our weakness, in my weakness We confess we do not know how to pray, But You know our very need. As we long for the glory of that day, As I wait, as I wait Your Spirit prays inside of me With sighing that words could not conceive, And grace flows downward over me, As Your Spirit intercedes.
16.
He’s the image of the Father; He’s the firstborn of the world By whom all things were created In the heavens and on earth. All things seen and all things unseen, All dominions, thrones, and kings, Were created through Christ Jesus, Were created for His sake. Jesus, Jesus, receive our praise. Jesus, Jesus, name above all names. By His holy word of power He’s sustaining through and through. In Him all things hold together, And through Him will be made new. He is head of those He purchased, All His church throughout the world. And He is the new beginning; He’s the firstborn from the dead. Yes, it was the Father’s pleasure That the fullness dwell in Him, And that grace flow beyond measure Through the blood that Jesus shed. Lift Your voice in adoration We’ve been given such a Lord: Our Creator, our Redeemer, Image of the unseen God.
17.
In every circumstance, give us confidence To speak Your word as Your Spirit leads, Giving witness to the One with power to save: Jesus Christ, full of truth and grace. Father, extend Your hand; Father, confirm our words.

about

There is a richness to God's Word: it instructs, guides, corrects, encourages, sustains, and transforms us in all of our life's varied situations and circumstances. These songs reflect on this richness; they are settings of Scripture inspired by life together with the community of believers called Wasilla Bible Church. They represent landmarks on our pilgrimage of life in Christ. In response to trials, celebrations, seasons, sermons, and illnesses, these songs were born out of our desire to make His Word our song in the house of our pilgrimage (Psalm 119:54).
